MotoVitals ("the app," "we," "our") is designed with your privacy as a priority. This Privacy Policy explains what information MotoVitals handles and how.
MotoVitals does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use the app.
All information you enter into MotoVitals — including your motorcycle details, maintenance items, service history, notes, and photos — is stored locally on your device only. We do not operate any servers that collect, receive, or store your data. MotoVitals developers never have access to your information.
If you purchase MotoVitals Pro, you can optionally create a backup file and save it to your own iCloud Drive or Files app, and restore from it later. This backup is created and stored entirely within your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's own privacy practices — MotoVitals and its developers never receive, transmit to a third party, or have access to this backup file or its contents.
MotoVitals may send you local notifications (e.g., maintenance reminders) based on the schedules and intervals you set. These notifications are generated and scheduled entirely on your device and are not sent through any external server.
If you attach a photo to a bike or service record, MotoVitals uses Apple's standard system photo picker. The app never requests full access to your photo library — only the specific photo you choose is stored locally within the app.
MotoVitals does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies. We do not collect device identifiers, usage statistics, or any data for marketing purposes. The app does not use the App Tracking Transparency framework because it does not track you across apps or websites.
The one-time "MotoVitals Pro" unlock is processed entirely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. MotoVitals does not receive or store your payment information — this is handled solely by Apple, per Apple's own privacy policy.
MotoVitals does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because no information is ever transmitted off your device.
Because all data is stored locally, you can delete all MotoVitals data at any time by deleting the app from your device, or by removing individual bikes/records within the app.
